Router management

In the bookmark routers the monitoring and configuration of all routers, headends, AP, switches and other facilities is performed. Routers are divided according to their localities. Thereby the whole net is possible to divide into logical units.

The list of all routers is possible to classify according to the locations, the router type or to find out the router with a fulltext search engine. Herewith it is possible to display the information required simply and clearly.

In the searching possibilities a monitoring panel, which clearly shows the numbers and states of the routers, is displayed. It also shows a total number of routers, a number of online routers, offline routers, routers that have current configuration, a number of routers that do not have current configuration ( for example by reason of inaccessibility, or a wrong password entered) and routers, where an update configuration is just in progress. By clicking on the description in the monitoring panel it is possible to display only the routers we are interested in.

Every display of the router is segmented into several information groups. In the header of each of router there are the ping statistics PING statistics and the transmission graphs Transmission graph for the whole router displayed. Next you can see the router name (white colour), the location name (grey colour), the router IP address, uptime (how long the router is in service), CPU load CPU , the possibility to test the connection Connection test an icon showing whether the router is online Online , or offline Offline , the routered nets, point of WIFI connection, addition of a net interface, headend, facilities, editing router features Editing and its deletion Deletion (The router is possible to delete only if no other equipment is connected).

At present there are 2 router types supported, which ISP Admin is able to communicate with and to carry out settings and monitoring.

Flash linux router
Operating System Linux is installed to a flash disk, which is a memory recording device similar to a hard drive, but based on a different recording principle. After the equipment is activated, the operating system is running only in the PC´s memory. The flash disk is not used yet. So the system high security is also assured (any problem can be solved by switching off and on the system).

Mikrotik
It is a popular routerboard that provides sufficient performance and comfortable setting.

Every router is possible to add APs connected, switches or headends. If such a device is added to the router, the graph automatically displays the ping result to the device, as well as the error rate. Thanks to these graphs it is possible to observe the behaviour and the error rate of lines.

All routers and devices connected to them are automatically monitored with NAGIOS system. Configuration for Nagios is created automatically based on the settings given in administration interface.
